Pio-Tech, the leading provider of Banking Business Intelligence and Performance Management Solutions in the Middle East and Africa has signed an agreement with Omdurman National Bank of Sudan, by Mr. Abdullah Al-Fakky to implement Bank-BI® AML (Anti-Money-Laundry Solution)
Omdurman National Bank one of the leading Sudanese banks that provides wide scope of corporate and retail banking services in Sudan. Including saving, current, deposit and investment accounts; local, and foreign transfers; mobile banking, electronic, points of sales, and electronic payment services. The bank was founded in 1993 and is based in Omdurman, Sudan with branches in Port-Sudan, Algdarif, Alobiyd, Sennar, Aldmazeen, Niyala, and Attbraa.
By launching the Pio-Tech Bank-BI® AML (Anti-Money-Laundry Compliance Solution) the bank will be able to analyze, predict and track risks of any suspicious money-laundering transaction according to international rules and regulations. In addition, the system will automate the processing of transactions, which minimizes user’s effort and time, and ensures that the bank is fully compliant with international AML laws.
Dr. Ayman Mohammad Amin Abdullah the Compliance Manager at Omdurman Bank of Sudan said during the ceremony “Due to our development plan to improve our AML systems, the bank has signed an agreement to implement an automated solution that is called “Bank-BI® AML solution” It is developed by Pio-Tech in order to detect any suspicious transaction or any black listed customer, it features various tools and functions that will further help our bank to comply with the local, international, and global AML rules and regulations. Moreover, the solution will enable our bank to enhance its relations with customers, and minimize efforts and time required for managing this relationship according to global standards.
